About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sustainability Consultant to join our team in the UK Environment and Health business unit. As a key member of our Sustainability and Carbon team, you will play a crucial role in supporting our clients in achieving their sustainability goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, undertake, coordinate, and supervise BREEAM Infrastructure (CEEQUAL) projects across a portfolio of projects within the public and private sectors.
  • Work alongside our engineering, building, transport, and other teams as required to support client projects.
  • Engage in wider sustainability projects that could include sustainability services, whole life carbon assessments, LCA's, and carbon reporting.
  • Serve as a positive team member, embodying Ramboll's expected behaviours.

About You

We are looking for a candidate with two to three years' experience in a similar role, with a strong understanding of sustainability and experience in one or more of the following areas:

  • Certified BREEAM Infrastructure Assessor/CEEQUAL Assessor and demonstrable experience of working on BREEAM Infrastructure/CEEQUAL projects with experience of working alongside engineering designers and contractors.
  • Wider understanding of sustainability and experience in one or more of the following sustainability skills: whole life carbon assessments, LCAs, and Environmental Impact Assessments.
  • Excellent engagement and relationship building experience with the ability to effectively communicate to internal colleagues and external clients.
  • Experience of supporting project management tasks to support delivery of projects on time and to budget.
  • Experience of writing and reviewing reports, including contributions to Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) or Strategic Environmental Assessments desirable (not essential).
