Job Overview

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough examinations and maintenance of equipment
  • Identify parts and timings required to carry out installation, repair and maintenance activities
  • Carry out maintenance and replace parts
  • Manage work allocation making use of IT and paper-based planning systems
  • Carry out maintenance on manually operated appliances
  • Maintain mechanical tools and those needing calibration and ensure the workshop is kept tidy
  • Give guidance to customers and clients, including information on parts and accessories
  • Full assembly of products according to industry standards
  • Safely decommission equipment
  • Prepare reports using clear, concise language appropriate to the target audience
  • Maintain safety for self and others
Requirements
  • A positive can-do attitude
  • A willingness to learn and develop knowledge through extensive studies
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal
  • An interest in engineering
Salary and Benefits

Estimated salary: £22,500 - £23,000 per annum. This is a full-time/permanent opportunity with hours of work from Monday to Friday 08:00 - 17:00.
