Job Title: Coordinator of Learning - Science

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Coordinator of Learning - Science to lead our science department in delivering an outstanding curriculum and fostering a passion for scientific inquiry among our students.

About the Role:

As Coordinator of Learning, you will play a pivotal role in coordinating the delivery of the science curriculum, supporting teachers, and promoting excellence across the department. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated educator to inspire the next generation of scientists and innovators at Leigh Academy Minster.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate the delivery of the science curriculum, ensuring high-quality teaching and learning across the department.
  • Support teachers in developing and implementing effective lesson plans and assessments.
  • Develop and implement strategies to promote excellence in science education, including data analysis and student progress monitoring.
  • Collaborate with the Senior Leadership Team to develop and implement departmental policies and procedures.
  • Provide guidance and support to teachers on curriculum design, assessment, and reporting.
