Job Description for Technical Support Officer (Building Management)

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Technical Support Officer to join our team at National Nuclear Laboratory Careers. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the company's continued compliance with all regulations governing the nuclear industry and Site Licence Conditions.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that the arrangements for all NNL Sellafield Facilities under their management comply with all relevant environmental, health, safety, security, and management system requirements. This will involve working closely with the Senior Technical Support Officer (STSO) to maintain a safe and compliant working environment.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Support the management and compliance of Legionella and asbestos-related tasks, including ensuring that all necessary procedures are in place and followed.
  • Work closely with the STSO to maintain a safe and compliant working environment, including conducting regular site visits and audits.
  • Develop and implement procedures to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and Site Licence Conditions.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to colleagues on Legionella and asbestos-related matters.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure that all necessary procedures are in place and followed.
