About the Role

As a Part-Time Childcare Companion, you will have the opportunity to work with an 11-year-old boy living in the Tonypandy area. The child has a rare liver condition and requires assistance with daily activities.

Responsibilities

  • Accompany the child on outings to increase social skills and involvement in the community.
  • Assist with personal care, such as getting dressed after swimming.
  • Participate in activities like going to the park, Fuze (soft play), and shopping.
  • Taking the child swimming and engaging with them during the activity.
  • Providing support and guidance when needed.

Working Arrangements

The position is part-time, with 5 hours worked per week split into two shifts. You will be paid £12.00 per hour, including mileage and reasonable expenses.
