At Egis, we are seeking a Director of Sustainable Development to join our team in London. As part of the company's strategy to grow and develop its sustainability business offering, this role will play a key part in delivering projects across various sectors.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in green building assessment and sustainability assessment consultancy services. A degree holder in engineering/science related to green building, civil & environmental, sustainability, building services, mechanical & electrical or equivalent is essential.

This role offers the opportunity to work on high-profile projects and collaborate with clients to help them predict, assess, and improve their sustainability performance through a collaborative and well-organized approach.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Sustainability Team Leadership: Lead the Sustainability Team to deliver sustainability assessment and design consultancy services within the built environment industry;
  • Project Delivery: Conduct calculations, computer modelling, and prepare professional consultancy reports, proposals or presentations;
  • Business Development: Develop business development strategies to grow and develop Inhabit's Sustainability business offering;
  • Strategic Planning: Develop ongoing strategy to grow and develop Inhabit's Sustainability business offering;
Requirements:
  • Degree holder in engineering/science related to green building, civil & environmental, sustainability, building services, mechanical & electrical or equivalent;
  • Extensive experience in green building assessment, sustainability assessment consultancy services;
  • Experience of working on projects in the Middle East would be advantageous;
  • Experience of ASHRAE 90.1 OR 90.2;
  • Ability to develop Carbon Reduction strategies;
  • Ability to estimate costs for Part O, Part L and embodied carbon assessments;

Egis is a global leader in infrastructure, urban planning, and operations. We offer a competitive salary range of £80,000 - £120,000 per annum, depending on experience.
