Job Overview

Actio Recruitment is assisting a leading contract electronics manufacturer in Hook with their search for a skilled PCB Assembly Technician to join their team.

The ideal candidate will have experience in surface mount technology and manual assembly, working to IPC610-3 standards. They will be responsible for building high-quality PCBs and related components, using assembly drawings and operating SMT equipment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Working from assembly drawings to produce high-quality PCBs and related components
  • Operating SMT equipment to assemble and solder components
  • Manual assembly and soldering of components
  • Knowledge of SMT component recognition and ability to work from drawings
  • Occasional performance of other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Previous experience in surface mount technology and PCB assembly
  • Good attention to detail and ability to work from drawings
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
