We are seeking a highly motivated post-doctoral biologist to join our team at Oxford Brookes University. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing training and support to scientists, ensuring the smooth running of our electron microscopes and associated equipment. This includes assistance with data collection and analysis, as well as the ongoing development of our facility's scientific capability.

Main responsibilities will include working alongside the light microscopy specialist to run our Centre, which includes running seminars, some undergraduate teaching, and working with our media centre to promote the microscopy centre and our science. The ideal candidate will have experience in chemical fixation of biological material and ultramicrotomy, and will be familiar with the JEOL 1400 TEM and Zeiss Merlin SEM with serial block face capability.
