Deputy Manager Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Manager to join our team at Additional Resources. As a Deputy Manager, you will play a key role in the daily operations of our therapeutic residential care home, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for our young residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the management and coordination of therapeutic services for young residents.
  • Promote strong, empathetic relationships with children, families, and professionals.
  • Support team development and promote the company's wellbeing initiatives.
  • Oversee meaningful supervision and training for staff members.
  • Ensure accurate documentation, including Care Plans and Risk Assessments, reflecting the children's progress.

Requirements:

  • At least 1 year experience in Residential Children's Social Care, ideally as a senior support worker.
  • Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Residential Childcare.
  • An understanding of trauma-informed care, with knowledge of PACE.
  • Valid UK driving licence.
