About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Deputy Scheme Manager to join our team at Peabody Trust. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of our extra care scheme, ensuring residents feel supported, safe, and empowered to live independently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the smooth running of the scheme, including voids, arrears, and compliance with fire safety targets.
  • Communicate effectively with residents through face-to-face meetings, newsletters, and letters, keeping everyone informed and engaged.
  • Collaborate with residents and stakeholders to maintain a positive, supported living environment.
  • Work closely with our Asset team to deliver improvements and investments that enhance the scheme.
Requirements
  • Experience working with older or vulnerable people and a background in scheme housing management.
  • Skilled or knowledgeable around team management.
  • Knowledgeable of health and safety compliance and committed to ensuring a safe environment.
  • Skilled at communicating and passionate about our customers.
  • Organised and able to manage time effectively with a can-do attitude.
