Learning Support Assistant

Teaching Vacancies is seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join our team. As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the educational, personal, and social needs of pupils with Special Education Needs (SEN).

As a Learning Support Assistant, your primary responsibility will be to assist teaching staff in delivering educational activities and providing pastoral care to pupils. Main Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Providing individualized support to pupils with SEN, adapting learning materials and strategies to meet their unique needs.
- Assisting teaching staff in planning and preparing lessons, including creating resources and materials.
- Liaising with parents and carers to ensure effective communication and cooperation.
- Participating in regular team meetings to discuss pupil progress and develop strategies for improvement.
- Maintaining accurate records of pupil progress and contributing to data analysis.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
- Experience of working with children with SEN, preferably in a school setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.

Salary and Benefits
The salary for this role is £26,409 - £28,624 per annum, depending on experience. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including pension scheme, life assurance, and annual leave entitlement.
