Job Description

**Accounts Assistant Opportunity with 2i Recruit Ltd**

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to join our client's Finance Team in Guildford. As an Accounts Assistant, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the accuracy and efficiency of the company's financial records.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up and manage new supplier and expense accounts
  • Complete office account bank reconciliations
  • Assist the Management Accountant with analysis of nominal accounts and other reconciliations
  • Deal with queries and provide excellent customer service
  • Potential to become involved in managing month-end prepayments and maintaining the fixed asset register

Requirements:

  • Experience within an accounts department
  • 2-3 years' purchase ledger experience
  • Confident telephone manner
  • Microsoft Outlook/Excel confident
  • Purchase ledger experience in a professional environment
  • Previous experience of Xero accounting software
