Role Overview

York Sport is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Duty Manager to contribute to the ongoing success of our facilities. As a key member of the management team, you will be responsible for implementing and delivering business, health & safety, and customer policies across both the University of York's West and East Campus sites.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the management team in the implementation and delivery of business, health & safety, and customer policies.
  • Manage, supervise, and coordinate staff, with a focus on delivering and coordinating staff training.
  • Ensure the highest standards of operational efficiency are maintained across both sites.

Requirements:

  • Current First Aid Qualification
  • National Pool Plant Operators Qualification
  • RLSS National Pool Lifeguard Qualification
  • Previous experience of working in a multi-functional sports/leisure facility with a swimming pool
