We are seeking a highly skilled and business-minded Technical Solutions Architect to join our team at OpenAI. As a key member of our Technical Success team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our systems integrators and strategic customers are successful in building scalable production applications with our OpenAI API platform.
About the Team
The Technical Success team is responsible for guiding and supporting customers to achieve maximum benefits, value, and adoption from deploying our highly-capable models. Our customers represent a range of diverse backgrounds and maturity, from early-stage startups to established global enterprises.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with systems integrators and strategic customers to implement solutions for their clients.
- Provide proactive advice to partners to maximize business impact and accelerate time to value with OpenAI solutions.
- Experiment and develop prototypes tailored for partners and their customers.
- Build and maintain relationships with partners' technical leadership to ensure successful deployments and scaling.
- Codify solution packages and patterns to facilitate effective reselling and implementation by partners.
- Support technical training sessions and workshops for partner teams.
- Scale the Technical Solutions Architect function by sharing knowledge, codifying best practices, and publishing resources to internal and external knowledge bases.
- Validate, synthesize, and deliver high-signal feedback to the Product and Research teams.
- Leverage skills in Python and JavaScript for solution development.
Requirements
- 8+ years of technical consulting (or equivalent) experience.
- Proficiency in Python and JavaScript.
- Experience in building and/or delivering prototypes on top of our API platform.
- Leadership experience in complex technical projects and programs with many stakeholders.
- Ability to proactively identify opportunities for maximizing partners' business value through leveraging the OpenAI API.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to own problems end-to-end.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment and navigate ambiguity with ease.
