Job Description
We are seeking an experienced SEN Teacher to join our team. As an SEN Teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering high-quality lessons within the national curriculum, while meeting the complex ASC & SEMH needs of all pupils.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and inclusive lessons that cater to the diverse needs of pupils
- Support the class team in facilitating learning opportunities and promoting positive behaviours
- Report on pupils' progress and concerns, and liaise with other staff to ensure pupils' needs are met
- Supervise pupils during non-classroom time, including extra-curricular activities and school trips
- Build positive relationships with pupils and drive interaction and positive learning outcomes
Requirements
- Hold qualified teacher status (QTS)
- Suitable qualification to degree level
- Previous successful teaching experience
- Some previous experience of working with pupils with SEND within an educational setting
- Experience of behaviour management and techniques
- Committed to professional development and willing to learn
- Willingness to undergo an Enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check prior to commencing work

Salary: £28,000 - £38,000 per annum
