Interim Sustainability Director

We are seeking an experienced and skilled professional to join our team as an Interim Head of Sustainability. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in driving our sustainability agenda and ensuring we meet our environmental and social responsibilities.

• Develop and implement a comprehensive sustainability strategy, aligned with our organizational goals and objectives.
• Lead the development and implementation of our Net Zero delivery strategy and pathway, ensuring we meet our carbon reduction targets.
• Engage with stakeholders across the organization to develop and implement sustainable practices and policies.
• Work closely with our property and facilities teams to ensure our buildings and operations are sustainable and environmentally friendly.
• Provide guidance and support to colleagues on sustainability and environmental issues.
• Partner with our marketing and communications teams to promote our sustainability achievements and progress.
• Establish and lead a sustainability delivery group to drive our sustainability agenda forward.
• Identify and secure funding opportunities for sustainability and carbon reduction projects.
• Develop and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, including government agencies, industry partners, and community groups.

• Proven experience in sustainability and environmental management, preferably in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of sustainability principles, practices, and policies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
• Ability to develop and implement strategic plans and initiatives.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
