Job Title: M&E Quantity Surveyor

Company Overview:

Streamline Services Consultancy Limited is a leading M&E contractor with a turnover of £45 million, specializing in delivering mechanical and electrical services on packages valued up to £4.5 million across the data centre and commercial sectors.

We are seeking a dedicated M&E Quantity Surveyor to join our team, who will be responsible for managing the financial aspects of multiple M&E projects, ensuring cost control and contract administration are carried out efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Preparation and management of project budgets, cost plans, and cash flow forecasts
  • Conducting cost analysis, value engineering, and procurement strategies
  • Liaising with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to negotiate contracts and agreements
  • Management and processing of payments, variations, and final accounts
  • Monitoring project progress and providing financial reports to stakeholders
  • Ensuring that projects comply with contractual and legal requirements
  • Supporting project managers with risk management and dispute resolution
  • Conducting regular site visits to assess work progress and validate cost reports
Qualifications and Experience Required:
  • Proven experience as an M&E Quantity Surveyor, ideally within the data centre or commercial sectors
  • Strong knowledge of M&E systems, contracts, and cost management
  • Familiarity with NEC or JCT contract administration
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills
  • Proficiency in estimation software and financial reporting tools
  • Degree in Quantity Surveying or related discipline is preferred
  • Membership of RICS or other relevant professional bodies is advantageous
