Our School

The Gatwick School is an all-through school to Year 11, located near London Gatwick Airport. Founded in 2014, our school is part of the Aurora Academies Trust, with approximately 400 students in primary and 600 in the secondary phase. Under new leadership since September, the school has ambitious plans for creating the best possible experience for our students, equipping them with all the skills they need for success, both now and in the future. We want all students and staff to be proud members of our TGS family.

The Role

We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant to support and inspire young minds. You will be joining a supportive team who place our values at the centre of all that we do, with a commitment to raising pupil achievement and aspirations. We are looking for someone who:
  • Has experience working as part of a team
  • Is an effective communicator
  • Has obtained HLTA status or a qualification such as ELSA
  • Has previous experience in a similar role
  • Has the ability to create and maintain high-quality, up-to-date records
  • Has the ability to remain calm and patient under pressure, while working to deadlines
  • Has a passion for working with and supporting children and/or young people
