Education Specialist for Children with Brain Injuries

About the Role
We are looking for a skilled and compassionate Psychology Graduate to join our team as a SENsory Tutor. The successful candidate will work one-to-one with secondary school-aged children who have brain injuries, providing tailored educational support in their own homes across the Sunderland local authority.
Key Duties
- Develop and implement individualized learning plans that cater to each pupil's unique needs and abilities
- Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other professionals to ensure seamless communication and support
- Stay up-to-date with best practices in child psychology and education to inform your work
Essential Requirements
- Experience working with children with SEND and challenging behaviour
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
