Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Surveyor to join our Operational Real Estate Transactional Team at Beach Baker. As a Senior Surveyor, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional services to our operational property clients across various sectors, including leisure, hotels, and pubs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Transaction Management: Create solutions for operational property clients, working across agency, investment, and development.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with other service lines, external agents, and suppliers to deliver high-quality services in line with the agreed scope.
  • Process Management: Ensure delivery teams adhere to the correct processes and templates.
  • Client Communication: Maintain regular communication with client stakeholders through verbal and written updates and reports.
  • Project Participation: Actively participate in client projects.
  • Compliance: Monitor and ensure business and legal compliance, working closely with the client's legal counsel.
  • Reporting: Report on project progress against established processes and schedules.
  • Performance Metrics: Meet client, individual, and team targets.
  • Business Development: Use portfolio data to analyze client activity and identify revenue opportunities.
  • Reporting and Review: Support weekly and monthly reporting, as well as Quarterly Business Reviews.

Core Skills and Experience:

  • Real Estate Qualification: Degree-level qualification in Real Estate.
  • Professional Certification: MRICS qualification is advantageous.
  • Commercial Awareness: Commercial awareness, negotiation skills, and knowledge of market dynamics.
  • Client Development: Client development, networking, and relationship management skills.
  • Industry Knowledge: Good understanding of the real estate industry and current market trends.
  • Transaction Management Experience: Experience in transaction management, agency, or project management roles.
  • Operational Real Estate Experience: Experience or desire to work in operational real estate.
