Job Title: Electrical and Hydraulic Engineer

Estimated Salary: £50,000 - £65,000 per annum

TQR Consultancy Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Electrical and Hydraulic Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining complex electrical and hydraulic systems used in various industries.

Your primary duties will include:

  • Designing and developing electrical and hydraulic systems to meet specific requirements;
  • Fault diagnosis and repairs on electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems;
  • Maintaining test rig oil cleanliness filter systems to reduce costs and improve operational efficiency;
  • Monitoring oil consumption and recording improvements achieved through 5S activities;
  • Creating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and providing training to operators where necessary;

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A Mechanical Engineering qualification or recognised Engineering Apprenticeship;
  • Recent experience in a similar role with exposure to mechanical engineering and experience of hydraulic systems;
  • SAP knowledge and working experience of AutoCAD, as well as good literacy skills in Microsoft Office suite;
  • Knowledge and experience of Electrical Engineering are essential;
  • BFPA training in Hydraulics is also desirable.

The successful candidate must be able to work a weekly shift rotation comprising Monday to Friday, 06:00am to 14:00pm and Monday to Friday, 14:00pm to 22:00pm. If required to train on day shift prior to moving to rotating shift, shift premium will not apply during training.
