Senior Claims Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Claims Manager to join our team at Concept Resources. As a Senior Claims Manager, you will be responsible for managing the entire claims process, from receipt to settlement, to ensure efficient and accurate payment of claims.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with enquiries relating to claims, either by direct involvement with the insurer concerned, or providing contact names and telephone numbers for clients own direct contact.
- Ensure claims are processed efficiently and correctly by working closely with insurers, loss adjusters, solicitors, brokers, claimants or their representatives, and relevant departments.
- Chase outstanding claims regularly as appropriate.
- Ensure payments received on behalf of customers are passed promptly to the customers in respect of their settlement.
- Supervise claims handlers and provide guidance and support as needed.
- Review and evaluate claims to ensure accuracy and compliance with policies and regulations.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve efficiency and quality of claims processing.
- Communicate with clients, loss adjusters and claim handlers to manage claims effectively.
- Identify and resolve challenges and issues related to claims processing and conclude satisfactory settlement.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in a Senior Claims Management Role or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years; experience with a Claims Role.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple priorities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and claims management software (Acturis).
Working Conditions:
The job role is officed based with normal working hours being Mon-Fri 9am 5pm (including 1 Hour for Lunch). On occasions you may be required to work longer hours or weekends to meet deadlines or manage emergencies.
Salary and Benefits:
- £35,000- £40,000 per annum depending upon experience.
- 25 Days Holiday plus 8 days bank holiday (increasing through length of service).
