Primary Job Purpose:

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our kitchen team as a Kitchen Porter. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen, maintaining high standards of health and safety, and providing exceptional service to our guests.

About The Role

Key Responsibilities:

• Undertake duties as set by the Head or senior chefs, ensuring the efficient operation of the kitchen.

• Participate in the maintenance of a clean and hygienic kitchen environment, adhering to statutory health, safety, and hygiene regulations.

• Ensure all kitchen equipment is operated safely and in accordance with risk assessments, maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and organization.

• Wash and sanitize crockery, utensils, and equipment, maintaining a high level of cleanliness and hygiene.

• Contribute to the maintenance of a well-organized kitchen, including the storage and retrieval of supplies and equipment.

• Report any equipment failures or health and safety hazards to the supervisor, ensuring prompt attention and resolution.

• Communicate effectively with colleagues, providing support and assistance as needed to ensure seamless kitchen operations.

• Provide porter support with deliveries, maintaining a high level of customer service and ensuring timely completion of tasks.

• Perform other duties as reasonably required by the supervisor, contributing to the overall success of the kitchen team.
