About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Civil/Structural Engineer to join our Rail Civil Engineering Design teams in Manchester, Liverpool, or London. As a key member of our team, you will support our Technical Directors and Design Managers in delivering a wide range of rail infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and check calculations, reports, drawings, risk assessments, and specifications for civil and structural engineering design packages.
  • Act as a mentor to junior engineers and technicians, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality design packages.
  • Collaborate with clients to deliver technically excellent design packages, meeting their needs and expectations.
  • Contribute to the growth and development of the team, including progression to Contractor's Responsible Engineer and Contractor's Engineering Manager roles.
Requirements
  • Strong technical design skills in civil and/or structural engineering.
  • Ability to find creative solutions to complex problems.
  • Experience of preparing and checking design packages on Network Rail projects.
  • Knowledge of Network Rail standards and processes.
