We are seeking an experienced Audiologist to join our team at East Suffolk and North Essex NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients with hearing impairments, including routine and complex diagnostic and rehabilitation activities.

Main Responsibilities

  1. Perform and interpret auditory testing on adults and children.
  2. Select, fit, and verify hearing aids for patients.
  3. Develop and implement individual aural rehabilitation programs.
  4. Liaise with other professionals regarding hearing assessment and rehabilitation of hearing-impaired children.
  5. Undertake in-patient work and outreach clinics.
  6. Provide aural rehabilitation to patients with additional disabilities.

About the Role

This is a fixed-term/secondment position until 1st January 2026. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to access first-line management training and work with a dedicated team of professionals.

Requirements

  • Current driving license and access to a vehicle for outreach clinics.
  • Teaching and training skills.

Desirable

  • Experience of working in an NHS Audiology team.
  • Experience of testing young children.
