Audiology Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Audiologist to join our team at East Suffolk and North Essex NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients with hearing impairments, including routine and complex diagnostic and rehabilitation activities.
Main Responsibilities
- Perform and interpret auditory testing on adults and children.
- Select, fit, and verify hearing aids for patients.
- Develop and implement individual aural rehabilitation programs.
- Liaise with other professionals regarding hearing assessment and rehabilitation of hearing-impaired children.
- Undertake in-patient work and outreach clinics.
- Provide aural rehabilitation to patients with additional disabilities.
About the Role
This is a fixed-term/secondment position until 1st January 2026. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to access first-line management training and work with a dedicated team of professionals.
Requirements
- Current driving license and access to a vehicle for outreach clinics.
- Teaching and training skills.
Desirable
- Experience of working in an NHS Audiology team.
- Experience of testing young children.
