We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Stock Controller to join our team at Siamo Recruitment. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient entry of all stock & location data, preparing and checking all stock reports, and maintaining the integrity of the stock systems.

The ideal candidate will have previous administration experience, stock control experience, and scissor lift experience. They will also have the ability to work proactively within a team and independently, be resourceful with time and assets, and have the ability to analyze and rectify errors efficiently and accurately.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with an award-winning recruitment agency, Siamo Group, and will have access to excellent benefits, including free on-site car parking, canteen facilities, and a pension scheme.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Ensuring the accurate and controlled recording and distribution of data/information by way of manual or computer systems.
  • Maintaining office control and filing systems relating to the administrative support of the contract.
  • Producing reports as requested by line managers.
  • Demonstrating a positive attitude towards problem solving.
  • Dealing with incoming/outgoing calls politely and confidently.
  • Contributing effectively in a team environment.
  • Attending any departmental training as required.
  • Maintaining high standards of stock control.
  • Liaising closely with the Warehouse Team to ensure all stock issues are resolved in an efficient, accurate, and professional manner.

Requirements:

  • Previous administration experience.
  • Previous stock control experience.
  • Scissor lift experience.
  • Experience of using WMS/JDA Dispatcher (desirable).
  • A positive working attitude and the capability to take instruction well from team leaders and management.
