Nursery Teacher Job Description

We are collaborating with a reputable nursery school in Barnet to find a qualified Nursery Teacher to join their team. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with a dedicated team of professionals who are passionate about children's educational success and future attainment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and deliver engaging and comprehensive lessons that cater to the needs of young learners.
  • Maintain a well-organized classroom environment and ensure the safe use and storage of all equipment.
  • Work collaboratively with other members of staff to provide a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Assess students' progress, provide constructive feedback, and implement strategies to support their development.
  • Comply with the school's policies and procedures, ensuring a safe and respectful learning environment.
Requirements:
  • Hold Qualified Teaching Status (QTS) or an equivalent qualification.
  • Strong knowledge of the Early Years curriculum and its application in a primary or preschool setting.
  • Recent experience as a Nursery Teacher in a primary or preschool setting, with a good level of classroom and behavior management.
  • Experience working with students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) is desirable.
