Litigation Associate

We are seeking a skilled Litigation Associate to join our client's busy landlord and tenant department. The ideal candidate will have paralegal/fee earning experience in civil litigation, preferably in dispute resolution or landlord and tenant matters.

• To undertake fee-earning work with supervision and provide contribution and support to the work of the landlord and tenant department.
• Issue possession claims on possession claims online system.
• Complete paper applications for the court including manual possession applications, accelerated applications, and warrant applications.

The successful candidate will be working for a busy landlord and tenant department together with 3 litigation fee earners (overseen by a solicitor) and 4 case handlers. We offer a competitive salary of £30,000 - £40,000 per annum, depending on experience.

• Good knowledge of the Civil Procedure Rules and litigation procedures.
• Confident to speak with clients and third parties over the phone.
• Willingness to be creative and adapt as this is a new enterprise.
