We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Rapid Return Agent to join our team at Avis Budget Group. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring that rental vehicles are returned in a timely and orderly manner, and that they are inspected and prepared for the next rental.
Key Responsibilities- Greeting and Inspecting Vehicles: Greet customers who are returning rental vehicles and inspect the vehicles for any damages or issues, documenting them using the appropriate tools and assessing any necessary charges as needed.
- Finalizing Rental Agreements: Outline and clarify all final charges to customers and collect the rental agreement receipt signature from them.
- Providing Assistance: Provide assistance with directions and travel information, and conduct thorough vehicle inspections to ensure vehicles are prepared for the next rental.
- Maintaining Records: Maintain accurate records and complete paperwork related to vehicle returns and inspections.
- Resolving Customer Issues: Resolve customer complaints and issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Ensuring Safety and Security: Ensure that safety and security protocols are followed at all times.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent level of education.
- Language Skills: Fluency in spoken and written English.
- Customer Service Experience: Prior customer service experience, particularly in the car rental, retail or hospitality sectors, with 1-2 years preferred.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Flexibility: Openness to working flexible schedules, including weekends.
- Communication Skills: Proven proficiency in communication and interpersonal skills.
- Teamwork: A team-oriented approach.
- Adaptability: Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks and perform well in a fast-paced setting.
- Attitude: A friendly, upbeat, and proactive attitude.
