We are seeking an inspirational Teaching Assistant 3 - Mentor to join our team at College Central, a school that provides education for students who have been excluded from mainstream settings.

About the Role:

  • Support pupils to access lessons and overcome challenges in and out of the classroom.
  • Work with class teachers to develop meaningful programs and support tutors as part of the tutor team.
  • Act as a supportive pastoral contact for all pupils and supervise classes to cover staff absence.

Requirements:

  • Enthusiastic, flexible, and supportive individual with experience working with young people.
  • Ability to develop and sustain meaningful relationships and champion young people who have struggled to access mainstream education.
  • Willingness to learn and keen to develop knowledge of working in Alternative Provision and pastoral roles.
