We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Systems Engineer to join our team at EFAB Resourcing Ltd. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for executing all electrical systems engineering activities within the boundaries defined by our company's authority limits.

The successful candidate will undertake design and engineering deliverables, including calculations, risk assessments, and sketches, in a safe and productive manner. You will deliver projects and/or packages on time, in-line with all contract specifications, achieving full client satisfaction and meeting all quality and commercial key performance indicators (KPI's).

Key responsibilities include:

  • Influencing others, negotiating, decision-making, and communication
  • Instrument datasheets, block cable diagrams, and cable routing drawings
  • Equipment layout drawings, hook-up, loop diagrams, and termination diagrams
  • Cable schedules, I/O schedules, including hard and soft I/O
  • Instrument schedules, material take-off
  • AutoCAD - geometry, setup, borders, layers, etc.
  • Field instrument selection
  • Material selection
  • Site surveys, team building
  • Coaching and mentoring, managing performance

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of and adherence to all relevant engineering procedures, policies, and standards, and their practical application.
