The Role
As a Strategic Communications Specialist at Frontiers Media S.A., you will play a key role in developing and implementing strong communication solutions company-wide and departmentally.
You will report to the Senior Internal Communications Manager and contribute to creating and reviewing content for company-wide and department-specific purposes.
This is an exciting opportunity for a candidate with strong writing, problem-solving, and project management skills to keep colleagues informed and contribute to our mission to make science open.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and review content for company-wide and department-specific communications.
- Ensure all communications are consistent and follow our brand guidelines.
- Contribute to campaign planning and execute campaign activity according to agreed schedules.
- Ensure internal communication messages are consistent with external communication messages and employees are informed of all developments.
- Assist in drafting messages from senior leadership.
- Manage internal company communication channels, including intranet, Teams channels, and email.
- Partner with the Senior Communications Manager to deliver our monthly internal newsletter.
- Work with our in-house design and creative team to create compelling visual and video content.
- Plan and organize internal communications events.
- Respond to feedback from staff and adjust communications content accordingly.
- Monitor engagement metrics and interpret data into actions.
- Identify new communications and engagement opportunities.
- Partner with the Senior Communications Manager to continually improve internal communications strategies.

Requirements
- Significant experience in internal communications or a related field (communications, journalism, marketing, public relations, human resources, academia).
- Native-level English speaker.
- Experience in copywriting and editing.
- Strong communication skills, including written, spoken, and presentation skills.
- A storyteller that can write, edit, and publish communications in an authentic and human way.
- Experience of communicating to a globally distributed, remote workforce.
- Competence in using MS Office applications and digital internal communications tools.
Salary Estimate: The estimated salary for this position ranges from $80,000 to $120,000 per annum, depending on location and experience.
