Assistant Manager Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Assistant Manager to join our team at The Horse and Groom. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of our busy pub, delivering exceptional customer service, and leading our bar and waiting team.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the pub, including staff supervision, customer service, and inventory management.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Train and develop the skills of our bar and waiting team to ensure excellent service standards.
  • Contribute to the development of our menu and drinks offerings, including beer, gin, and wine selection.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of special events and promotions.
