Job Title: Architecture Manager for Product Development

Location: Flexible working arrangements available.

Salary: Competitive salary plus benefits.

As a key member of our Product Development Architecture team, you will be responsible for managing the development of technical strategy, approach, and standards. You will provide technical advice and guidance to business senior leadership, validate and manage demand from functions and programmes into the Product Group, and contribute to the overall development of future state architectures.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the development of technical strategy, approach, and standards.
  • Provide technical advice and guidance to business senior leadership.
  • Validate and manage demand from functions and programmes into the Product Group.
  • Contribute to the overall development of future state architectures.
  • Develop, maintain, and govern solution development tools and processes.
  • Develop the solution configuration plan and reference models.
  • Oversee the assurance of designs against architectures and of the solution design, build, and test activities.
  • Provide functional leadership and representation of IT resources.
  • Align technical approach within the wider Architecture Office IT technical strategy.

Your Skills and Experience:

Essential:

  • Good architecture experience with a focus on complex systems engineering.
  • Experience with engineering management and design systems.
  • Experience of working within architectural frameworks.

Desirable:

  • Knowledge and experience of product management, backlogs, roadmaps, and prioritization.
  • Experience with enterprise architecture applications.
