About the Job

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Electronics Design Engineer to join our team at Permanent Futures. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who wants to work on exciting electronic hardware projects.

In this role, you will be responsible for designing and developing electronic systems, including digital and power electronics-based systems, PCB layout & circuitry of new products, prototyping and testing, and manufacturing scale-up.

You will work closely with an on-site team of mechanical design engineers to provide support as required. The ideal candidate will have good digital design skills, excellent knowledge of power supplies, and some exposure to embedded systems.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working on projects from conception to completion, using their excellent time management skills to deliver results.

  1. Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop electronic systems.
  • Work with mechanical design engineers to provide support.
  • Develop digital and power electronics-based systems.
  • Test and debug electronic systems.

To apply for this role, you will need a degree in Electronic Engineering or a related discipline, experience with design of power supplies, inverters, and control electronics, and proven experience of analysing, designing, testing, debugging, and enhancing existing/new products used in an industrial environment.
