Psychiatrist Specialising in Psychosis

We are seeking a highly skilled General Adult Psychiatrist to join our team at NHS Professionals. As a specialist in psychosis, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive care to adults experiencing severe mental health issues.
About the Role:- Conduct thorough psychiatric assessments and diagnose a wide range of psychotic disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that may include medication management, psychotherapy, and other therapeutic interventions.
- Monitor and adjust treatment plans as needed to optimize patient outcomes.
- Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications, ensuring safe and effective use in treating psychosis.
- Monitor patients for side effects and adjust medications accordingly.
- Conduct regular follow-ups and crisis interventions as required.
- Valid GMC registration.
- Right to work in the UK.
- Minimum 6 months NHS experience.
- Section 12 certification.
- Specialist Registration for Adult Psychiatry preferred but not essential.
