Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Specialist Teaching Assistant to join our team. As a Specialist Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our students with their academic and personal development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support students with challenging behaviour in a positive and constructive manner
  • Build professional relationships with students, encouraging them to access the curriculum
  • Work collaboratively with the Class Teacher and Pastoral Support team to provide a comprehensive support package
  • Contribute to the development of individual learning plans and support the implementation of these plans
  • Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge
Requirements
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience of working with children/young people who display challenging behaviour
  • Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing circumstances
  • Strong team work skills and a commitment to collaboration
  • Interest in running additional activities and sharing your passions with students
