Job Title: Maintenance Supervisor

We are seeking a proactive and organised Maintenance Supervisor to join our dynamic response repairs team in the Midlands region, covering Cherwell. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the Service Delivery Manager in the day-to-day running of our responsive team, helping to manage engineers, plumbers, carpenters, and electricians, ensuring targets are met and work is delivered to the highest standard.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assisting the Service Delivery Manager with daily tasks and operational planning
  • Ensuring all team members meet their targets and deadlines
  • Providing on-the-ground support to tradespeople, troubleshooting and offering guidance as needed
  • Maintaining a safe working environment by ensuring all health and safety regulations are followed
  • Assisting in scheduling, resource allocation, and overall service delivery management
  • Acting as a point of contact between the team and the Service Delivery Manager
  • Conducting regular checks to ensure the quality and compliance of all work performed
  • Assisting with administrative tasks, such as reporting, record-keeping, and communication
Requirements:
  • Qualified to NVQ Level 2 in a core subject (plumbing, carpentry, electrical) NVQ Level 3 in Plumbing if plumbing is core or currently undertaking the qualification
  • Significant social housing experience
  • Good communication, interpersonal and customer care skills
  • Analysing and diagnosing problems and implementing effective solutions
  • Basic skills in the use of Microsoft Office, Excel, Outlook and Word
  • This role will involve driving on company business. In order to drive a company vehicle, drivers must hold a full valid UK driving licence.
