Healthcare Assistant - Adult Healthcare Assistant Day
About the RoleThis is a crucial role within our healthcare team, making a real difference to patients and delivering outstanding care.
We are seeking a Healthcare Assistant to join our team at HMP Risley, a category C prison located in the area of Warrington.
- You will work on rotational shifts, 37.5 hours per week.
- Ensure continuity of care for all patients and deliver outstanding care at all times.
- Work across all areas of care, including inpatients, clinics, primary care, health promotion, bloods etc.
- Respond to emergency situations as needed.
- A bespoke induction program, including Introducing Health in Justice training.
- A competency framework to support your growth.
- Regional and national career development opportunities.
- Access to our Learning Management System for addressing learning needs.
- Support from the wider team.
- Hold a NVQ Level 2 / 3 qualification in Health & Social Care, or equivalent.
- Have experience within a healthcare setting - hospital, community or secure setting.
- Any experience in primary care or inpatients would be beneficial.
- Have a non-judgmental and compassionate approach.
The estimated salary for this position is £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
