The Royal Surrey NHS Trust is a leading healthcare provider in the region, offering a range of acute and community services. We are currently seeking an experienced Acute Care Clinical Coder to join our clinical coding team.

About the Role

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality clinical coding services across all specialties. This will involve managing a coding team, developing training packages, implementing policy and systems, and providing leadership and supervision to ensure best practice guidance is met.

A strong background in clinical coding is essential, with experience in training and mentoring coders to a high level. You will also need to have extensive knowledge of ICD and OPCS classification systems, as well as experience in conducting audits and using Microsoft Office suite.

We offer a competitive salary of £42,000 - £50,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus opportunities for hybrid working and flexibility with working times to support a healthy work-life balance.
