About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated individual to join our Housing team as a Scheme Manager. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing a high-quality housing management service to our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage low-level anti-social behavior, including attending evictions and managing complaint processes.
  • Provide a housing management service, signposting tenants to support organizations, and dealing with part of the lettings process.
  • Undertake compliance checks and scheme inspections to ensure health and safety regulations are met.
  • Work with external agencies, such as Social Workers, to address safeguarding concerns and additional support requirements.
  • Identify potential repairs or faults in the scheme and ensure they are reported and monitored.
Requirements
  • Experience working with older people or vulnerable client groups is essential.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, with the ability to build strong relationships.
  • The ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
  • Housing management experience and basic knowledge of welfare benefits and rent accounts are desirable.
  • A full, current driving license is desirable for occasional travel between schemes.
