Job Title: Early Years Teacher

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Early Years Teacher to join our team at Bright Horizons Richmond Queens Road Day Nursery and Preschool.

About the Role

As an Early Years Teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering high-quality learning experiences for children aged 0-5 years. You will work closely with our experienced team to create a nurturing and stimulating environment that promotes children's physical, emotional, and cognitive development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver engaging and challenging learning activities that meet the needs of all children
  • Assess and record children's progress, identifying areas of strength and weakness
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with parents and carers, keeping them informed of their child's progress
  • Contribute to the development of our nursery's policies and procedures, ensuring they are aligned with the Early Years Foundation Stage
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment

Requirements
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), Early Years Teacher Status (EYTS), or Early Years Practitioner Status (EYPS)
  • Previous experience working in the Early Years sector
  • Sound understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage
  • Ability to build strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
