Job Profile: Freight Coordinator

Streamline Search is recruiting on behalf of our client, a leading freight and logistics company with over 30 years of experience. They handle importations and exportations of all types of cargo using multimodal means, including air, sea, road, and rail.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with agents and customers to ensure smooth freight operations.
  • Manage the freight process from start to finish, excluding operations.
  • Provide quotations to customers and agents, and negotiate international freight rates.
  • Arrange air, sea, and road freight bookings, and liaise with customers and overseas agents.
  • Book new shipments and manage cross-trade shipments.
  • Follow up with clients after transactions and handle invoicing.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in shipping, sea, air, and road freight forwarding.
  • Strong knowledge of the global freight industry.
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • A collaborative and dynamic team player.

Remunerations:

  • Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
  • £30,000 - £35,000 per annum.
  • Hybrid working arrangement in the future.
  • Onsite parking and company pension.
