As a Principal Electrical Engineer at Morson Talent, you will be responsible for applying your expertise in electrical engineering to complex problems and challenges. Your role will involve designing and developing solutions, resolving engineering issues, and providing technical guidance to others.
Key Responsibilities:- Undertake technical reviews and verification of engineering designs
- Articulate and document subject expertise, approaches, and standards to extend the business knowledge base
- Provide technical direction to engineers and support the development of individuals and teams to enhance skills and competencies
- Define qualification obligations for assurance hold points during build, test, and commissioning, and provide assurance to the Design Authority on the adequacy and robustness of the Safety Case and supporting documentation
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure their requirements are adequately supported and their needs are fully considered and incorporated
- Chartered Engineer (CEng) level or equivalent level of capability
- Significant experience in electrical engineering, with a detailed and comprehensive understanding of concepts and principles relating to the area
- Ability to apply knowledge to a wide range of engineering issues within own discipline and other engineering disciplines
- Leadership skills, with the ability to provide advice and guidance to others within the same team or discipline area
- Problem-solving skills, with the ability to perform analysis, evaluation, and resolution of complex engineering issues and specifications
