Role Overview

We're seeking a talented and motivated Assistant Building Control Surveyor to join our Building Standards team in Preston. As a member of our team, you'll have the opportunity to work on a broad range of projects and support our clients with:

  • Undertaking plan checks for Building Regulation approval
  • Conducting site visits, preparing site visit reports, and witnessing tests
  • Attending client and design team meetings to provide professional advice
  • Using our management systems, including our Quality Management system
  • Working in accordance with commercial requirements, including costs and programme
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • A MRICS, MCABE, or MCIOB qualification (or be working towards)
  • Experience in a similar role, ideally as a Graduate Building Control Surveyor
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • The ability to introduce new clients and expand our workload
