Job Title: Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

Elevation Recruitment Group is seeking a skilled Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join their team in Leeds. As a key member of the maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of production machinery and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out routine maintenance and repairs to production machinery and equipment
  • Conduct root cause analysis and fault finding on electrical and mechanical equipment
  • Implement efficient and effective repair solutions to minimize downtime
  • Collaborate with the maintenance team to drive downtime reduction and improve health and safety
  • Work independently and as part of a team to achieve maintenance goals
Requirements:
  • HNC/HND/Degree level education in a relevant field
  • Full apprenticeship or equivalent experience in a similar role
  • Experience in a fast-paced FMCG environment or similar
  • Knowledge of PLC and HMI instrumentation
  • Basic/intermediate level skills in Lathe and Milling
