About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Winding Specialist to join our team at ERIKS, a leading Specialised Industrial Service Provider. As a Winding Specialist, you will be responsible for meeting the needs of our customers in various areas, including:

  • Testing and rewinding of AC/DC electrical motor windings
  • Correct use of burnout techniques and impregnation methods
  • Connection and testing of windings
  • Assistance with other key tasks within the workshop

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work on standard day shifts with opportunities for overtime and on-site work with customers
  • Meet the needs of our customers in various areas, including testing and rewinding of AC/DC electrical motor windings
  • Use specialist tools and equipment to perform tasks
  • Work well in a team and independently under own initiative

Requirements:

  • Formal training or qualification in winding within a motor environment
  • Experience of both AC and DC winding, although AC experience is preferred
  • Confidence in carrying out fitting tasks as well as winding
  • Strong safety record and commitment to safety
  • Ability to work well in a team and independently
