Security Operations Center Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled SOC Analyst to join our team at Franklin Fitch. As a key member of our Security Operations Center, you will play a critical role in monitoring and responding to security events and incidents.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor and analyze security events and incidents using our SIEM platform and security applications.
- Provide first and second-line support for client-raised security events and incidents.
- Onboard clients to tools such as SIEM, EDR, and OT Monitoring.
- Perform false positive and false negative analysis.
- Escalate high-severity threats to clients and/or technical teams.
- Support the SOC Team Lead on requests in your area of expertise.
- Ensure accurate time logging for client work and billing purposes.
- Handle technical incident tickets within contractual SLAs and KPIs.
- Respond to emergency outages in accordance with business continuity and disaster recovery plans.
- Support project delivery with chosen technologies.
- Experience with EDR solutions such as Sentinel One and Palo Alto Cortex.
- Background in IT Support or Security/SOC teams.
- Familiarity with IAM platforms like Azure AD or Okta.
- Knowledge of Azure or AWS.
- SIEM/SOAR solutions like FortiSIEM, Splunk, LogRhythm, or AlienVault.
- Network environments, firewalls, and Active Directory.
- Security concepts, including CIA, MITRE ATT&CK Framework, and vulnerabilities.
- ITIL and CompTIA Security+ or CySA+ certifications.
- Fortinet Solutions and scripting skills in Python, PowerShell, or Perl.
- Understanding of ticket management systems and SLAs.
