Mechanical Project Engineer Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Project Engineer to join our team at Bennett and Game Recruitment LTD. As a Mechanical Project Engineer, you will be responsible for attending to clients' needs, servicing projects from start to finish, and ensuring all Health & Safety requirements are met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Quoting clients' job requirements and seeking approval via Regional Director
  • Developing client relationships and ensuring continuation of projects
  • On-site management, including coordination and supervision of tradesmen
  • Managing resources in line with project budget and controlling costs
  • Ensuring clients' expectations of quality are met

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a Project Engineer/client-facing position
  • Mechanical/industry experience essential
  • Industry knowledge of steam, chilled water, and compressed air desirable but not essential
  • Process pipe work experience is essential
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD, design ability, and Microsoft Office
  • Either IOSH or NEBOSH qualified
  • Commutable distance to Slough
  • Full UK driving license

Remuneration:

  • Salary £55,000 dependent upon experience
  • Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8am-6pm (40-hour working week)
  • 28 days holiday including bank holiday
  • Pension
