Job Title: Furniture Logistics Specialist

Location: Aylesford, UK

We are seeking an experienced HGV Class 2 driver to join our transport team at Pineapple Contracts. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing white glove delivery and installation of our products and furniture, as well as loading and unloading of vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing excellent customer service and ensuring timely delivery of products
  • Loading and unloading of vehicles, including heavy lifting of furniture and other products
  • Ensuring vehicles are maintained and any faults or defects are reported immediately
  • Following all health and safety procedures
  • Communicating with other departments as required
  • Working as part of a team and undertaking other ad-hoc jobs as needed

Requirements:

  • A full and valid UK driving licence with HGV Class 2 license
  • Ability to lift and manoeuvre heavy loads
  • Manual handling training will be provided
  • Some woodwork or furniture assembly experience would be beneficial, but not essential
  • Excellent customer service skills and a polite, professional manner
  • Ability to work away overnight and to overtime as required
